We spent one night in Phuket before catching a ferry over to Phi Phi island. In phi phi we have been doing lots of swimming and relaxing at the beach or at our hotel pool. On Friday we even went out on a boat trip. On the boat we went to monkey island, maya bay (where the movie 'The Beach' is filmed) snorkeled, and jumped off cliffs!! It was an incredible day!!

We had an amazing time in phi phi and were sad when it was time to leave! Yesterday we travelled for 8 hours by bus and ferry and arrived in Ko Samoi. We are here for the next 5 nights.

Hello Miss Grant, Kirsty, Shaun and Chelsea!! We are just wondering when Chelsea got the photo beside the monkey did she get to pat it? How many monkeys did you see on the island? How hot was the weather at Phi Phi Island? We think Shaun is looking a little browner than before... have you run out of sunscreen? We have had Grandparents day this week and we learnt lots of new bits of information about the 'Olden Days' and how life has changed! It has been an interesting inquiry topic. It is also wheels week here so lots of action on the tennis court and out in front of our classroom! Not long now until the holidays. Keep posting :) we love seeing where in the world you are! Chelsea could have touched it if she wanted to but she kept her distance as we were told they bite!! Some other people patted the monkeys and Miss Grant fed them some fruit. There were about 20 monkeys on the Island.
Phi phi was very hot about 32 degrees. We have been very careful with putting on lots of sunscreen and insect spray! But yes Shaun is looking very brown!
Today we travelled back to Bangkok - Kirsty and Chelsea leave for home tomorrow. Will be very sad at the airport!
